Second schedule of Naga Chaitanya's #NC24 begins in Hyderabad

The makers of director Karthik Dandu's mythological thriller, tentatively being referred to as #NC24 and featuring actor Naga Chaitanya in the lead, on Friday announced that the second schedule of shooting for the film had commenced in Hyderabad.

Taking to its X timeline, Sri Venkateshwara Cine Chitra (SVCC), the production house producing the big budget entertainer, wrote, "Yuvasamrat is back in action. The second schedule of #NC24 begins in Hyderabad and will be shot across three different locations. It’s going to be an adrenaline-charged ride."

They also released a new poster to announce the beginning of the second schedule. The poster had the tag line, "One step deeper;One swing closer."

'Kaanta Laga' star Shefali Jariwala dies at 42

Shefali Jariwala, widely known for her breakout performance in the iconic 2002 music video 'Kaanta Laga', passed away in Mumbai late on Friday night. She was 42.

Jariwala was reportedly rushed to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital by her husband after she was found unresponsive.

Despite all efforts, doctors declared her dead on arrival.

The cause of death has not yet been made public by the family. However, some reports suggest that Jariwala died due to cardiac arrest.

Her body has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem examination.

Expressing the same, the ‘Ok Jaanu’ actor shared, “With Arijit, there have been quite a few songs. He is such an amazing singer, adding so much depth and feeling and emotion to the song, adding new meaning to each song. He is just a wonderful talent, and it’s great to have some songs that have been memorable for people and that it’s been years. So yes, it’s been a combination that has been a good one, and we are really happy about that, and hopefully it continues with ‘Metro In Dino’ as well.”

Filmmaker Ayan Mukerji says he sees directing the upcoming action entertainer “War 2” as an exciting chance to honor the first installment, which was released in 2019, while bringing his own vision to the spy universe.

Ayan said: “It is a huge responsibility to take forward a hugely loved franchise like War and leave your own mark on it. I saw directing War 2 as a relishing opportunity to give a hat-tip to the first film. You can’t have fun otherwise while coming on board such a huge blockbuster franchise.”

The filmmaker talked about how he focussed on crafting the storyline because he wanted a conflict that was big enough to put two stars Hrithik Roshan against NTR.

“One has to take what has been set and then make the fans of the film and the fans of these gigantic superstars of our country go on a journey that is new, that hopefully leaves them hungry for more. As a director, I have to be honest, I immersed myself into delivering this feeling.”
