The Haryana Electricity Regulatory Commission (HERC) will convene its 31st State Advisory Committee (SAC) meeting on February 19, under the chairmanship of Nand Lal Sharma to finalize electricity tariffs for the new financial year 2025-26. The meeting will focus on the financial sustainability of power distribution companies, consumer protection measures, and reforms to improve the efficiency of Haryana’s power sector.

Haryana’s Energy, Transport and Labour Minister Sh. Anil Vij inspected the newly installed high-speed lift in the 63-meter-high Memorial Tower of the Shaheed Smarak, being built in Ambala Cantonment in memory of the country's First War of Independence in 1857. The minister took the lift to the 12th floor and checked its functionality during the inspection.
