Chandigarh, February 17 || TC - Haryana Public Health Engineering and Public Works Minister, Sh. Ranbir Gangwa will participate in the 2nd All India State Water Ministers’ Conference in Udaipur, Rajasthan on February 18-19, 2025.
Sharing the information here today, an official spokesperson informed that the conference is being organized by the National Water Mission, Union Ministry of Jal Shakti. Public Health Engineering Ministers from various states will also participate in the event.
The conference, themed "India@2047 – A Water Secure Nation," aligns with the vision of a Viksit Bharat set forth by Prime Minister Sh. Narendra Modi. The primary focus will be on discussions around water sustainability and security across the states. Key topics include the 'Har Ghar Nal, Har Ghar Jal' initiative, the 'Jal Jeevan Mission', achieving 100 per cent reuse of treated wastewater, and the installation of energy-efficient, five-star rated pumping systems in 44 cities under the AMRUT-2 scheme in Haryana. In addition, strategies to make Haryana a water-secure state by 2047 will also be deliberated.
