Chandigarh, July 25 || The matter of delay in the elections of 42 municipal councils of Punjab has reached the Punjab and Haryana High Court. In this regard, a hearing will be held today in the High Court, in which the Punjab government will present its side. On the previous hearing, the court had sought a response from the government in this regard. In this matter, Beant Singh, a resident of Malerkotla, has filed a public interest petition in the court.
