Feb 6 || TC - The eagerly awaited eighth edition of 'Pariksha Pe Charcha' (PPC) will return with a broader and more inclusive format this year, featuring an impressive array of distinguished guests and experts alongside Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Set to be held on February 10 at 11 a.m., the event will focus on providing students with guidance on managing exam-related pressures, mental health, career choices, and the use of technology in education. The program aims to create a stress-free and holistic approach to learning.
This edition of PPC will include a variety of renowned personalities, such as spiritual leader Sadhguru, Bollywood celebrities Deepika Padukone, Vikrant Massey, Bhumi Pednekar, and sports champions Mary Kom, Avani Lekhara, and Suhas Yathiraj.
Other notable figures joining the discussion include renowned nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, entrepreneur Radhika Gupta, and popular digital influencer Technical Guruji.
Together, these experts will share valuable insights on how to handle exam stress, maintain focus, and strive for academic success. The discussions will provide students with practical tools and motivation to approach their studies with confidence.
This year's PPC will be the most expansive yet, comprising eight episodes. The program began with an online multiple-choice quiz competition from December 14, 2024, to January 14, 2025, open to students in classes 6 to 12, as well as teachers and parents. Participants were invited to submit questions for the Prime Minister, with selected winners getting the chance to engage with him personally.
Sadhguru will focus on the power of meditation and inner peace to reduce exam stress, while Radhika Gupta and Technical Guruji will discuss how to responsibly use technology and Artificial Intelligence in studies.
Sports icons Mary Kom, Avani Lekhara, and Suhas Yathiraj will emphasize the importance of integrating physical activities into daily routines to relieve academic pressure. Bollywood star Deepika Padukone will speak about mental health, overcoming stigmas, and building resilience, while actors Vikrant Massey and Bhumi Pednekar will advocate for creative learning.
Nutritionist Rujuta Diwekar, along with Sonali Sabharwal and Revant Himatsingka from FoodPharmer, will share insights into the role of nutrition in improving cognitive abilities and overall well-being.
The event will also feature successful students from various competitive exams who will discuss their experiences and strategies for achieving academic excellence.
With a focus on reducing exam stress and addressing career concerns, the discussions aim to inspire students to approach their studies with a calm and confident mindset.
To build anticipation for the main event, Prime Minister Modi recently met with a group of 30-40 students at Sundar Nursery in Delhi.
The main event will take place at Bharat Mandapam in New Delhi on February 10, where 2,500 handpicked students will attend in person. These students will receive exclusive PPC kits designed by the Ministry of Education to enhance their learning experience.
Additionally, the top 10 'Legendary Exam Warriors' will be given a special opportunity to visit the Prime Minister’s residence, offering them a once-in-a-lifetime chance for inspiration.
Since its inception in 2018, PPC has become a flagship initiative of the Prime Minister’s vision to create a stress-free education system. Inspired by his book 'Exam Warriors', the initiative encourages students to adopt a positive approach toward exams.
Over the years, PPC has evolved with the inclusion of interactive elements and new technologies, ensuring it remains relevant and impactful. This year’s edition has already broken records, with a record-breaking 3.6 crore registrations, including 3.3 crore students, 2.7 lakh teachers, and 5.5 lakh parents.
With its new format and expert panel, PPC 2025 is poised to be a transformative experience for students across the country.
